Track & Field

Track and Field is an exceptional sport for physical fitness and mental fortitude.

IDA Track and Field runs from March until May. IDA athletes practice four days per week, and when the meet season starts the team participates in one meet per week on average.

The inaugural season of IDA Track and Field was an awesome experience for our students. We had eight middle school runners participate in five regional meets. None of our eight runners had not participated in Track and Field prior, yet remained extremely competitive every race. The 2023 IDA Track and Field team was coached by Richard Rapp and Nick Moelter.
