Cross Country

Cross Country is an exceptional sport for physical fitness and mental fortitude.

IDA Cross Country runs from August until October. IDA runners practice three days per week, and when the meet season starts the team participates in one meet per week on average.

The inaugural season of IDA Cross Country was an awesome experience for our students. We had eight middle school runners participate in five regional meets. Seven of our eight runners had not participated in Cross Country prior, yet remained extremely competitive every race. The 2022 IDA Cross Country team was coached by Jacob Smith and Derek Jochimsen.
